37.5 weeks!

Here we are at 37.5 wks! Yay! She can come anytime. Although unlikely with my luck.

I spent most of the day cooking food with my mom, (thanks mom!) to freeze. We got a lot accomplished! Spaghetti sauce, taco meat, chicken enchiladas, sloppy joes, and meatballs. Phew, I tired!

Oh, and William moved all the dressers into their correct spots. Not I just have to get enough energy to put away all the clothing. Really I'm dreading it because the girls have outgrown some of there clothes and trying to get them to try stuff on is just plain awful. But it has to be done. That and painting Sable's room. I think we'll get to that tomorrow. Don't worry we got some low VOC paint. Then I will be able to really relax and let this girl come.

Back to the land of the living

Well after the girls got sick with a high fever two weeks ago, I came down with the flu. NOT FUN! Were talking fever, chills, major coughing, sneezing, achy body, and so much pain in my head I wanted to rip it off! This lasted 5 days. I'm just now getting some energy back.

Well all this down time has afforded us some game time. I realized that we didn't own checkers! That's just a crime. Both the girls have gotten pretty good. And of course Avlynne has coined some of her own phrases for moves and such. She makes "bridges", and the edges where someone can't jump you are called the "catacombs".

The girls' new dresser is supposed to be in tomorrow. So hopefully I can get all these clothes rearranged and put away. Then I'll feel a little more ready.

Walkin In A Winter Wonderland

I decided that it might do us all a little good to get out and breath some fresh air. Emry didn't feel like walking so I pushed. That definitely brought on the Braxton Hicks. She weighs 46 lbs, I can't believe it. We were wondering what was taking Avlynne so long to get the camera, she was getting a little sidetracked taking pictures of us from inside the house. She thought it was pretty funny!

Is this not the purdiest thing you've seen?

She said the cutest thing today, and I had to hold back the laughter because she is VERY sensitive about people laughing at her. She's really been into learning her letters and numbers lately. I got some magnetic fridge letters. She had just finished saying the alphabet and then looked at me and said, "mom, we don't have the letters next time won't you sing with me, we don't have those one's." How cute is that!

This is a drawing by my lovely art teacher. So now you can see she was right when she said I had a good teacher! You can tell she focuses on one thing, obviously not the guys face, but wow look at that horse!

And here's a picture I forgot to post yesterday. I thought since I'm not able to see my feet, you shouldn't be able to either! Hehe
I better get some good blog love after this huge post!

Melt baby melt!

If you look closely there's a little drip, dropping down. Which is very exciting to me. That means spring is coming some day, and this baby is closer to coming too!

Thanks to Auto Save

If blogger didn't have auto save I would have lost the whole next post. Needless to say that would have put my bad day over the edge! The girls have been sick with fevers, Emry has puked twice today, once on the futon (which there isn't really a good way to clean it if it soaks into the mattress, yuck) and then on the way home from getting Avlynne. Uh, in the car. William is stopping by Home Depot tonight to find some carpet cleaning stuff. So here's my PSA for the day. Even if you don't think they will get sick, bring something for it to go in. Because they definitely will if your not prepared!

See look at this, two posts in one day! And you thought you lost me forever.

Back online

Well guys I think I'm back on track. Sure you say, but even I miss posting! Avlynne's little camera ran out of batteries and so I bought a mega pack. Ok on to the good stuff, where do I start. Life has been crazy busy, and then REALLY slow when the kids are sick like this week. I've gotten out once since Sunday. But even I'm kind of enjoying just cuddling with the girls. That's where I took this picture. I was laying there admiring Emry's long lashes. Although I didn't get just the right angle. And please let's focus on them, not the mega uni-brow! William and I have had many a discussion on what is going to be a proper age to "take care" of that growth! Hehe, just kidding.

And then here's a finished picture of what we've been doing at night. Putting furniture together! The other night it was the crib, and I do have pictures of William putting it together but they are on the other camera and I don't have a slot for that in the laptop. I'll get to those later. When the room is finished and I can do a start to finish blog. I'm really glad I went with the girly girl stuff this time. With the other girls they both had greens, blues, and yellows. Still cute but not foo foo. Anyway, then last night William put together the dresser.

And I'm wayyyy overdue for a belly pic. This is from yesterday so 35 wks. Were getting there! I haven't quite mastered the pic in the mirror thing. I'm getting pretty big, just hoping she (we've settled on Sable) won't be as big. I'm trying my hardest, but my body is just not liking any sugars. I'm not sure anyone really understands to what extremes I'm having to go to. I could have two eggs and a HALF of a fibered up english muffin and that would send my numbers too high. It's not just about cutting out "sweets". Unfortunately when your pregnant your hungry, and most of the time veges, meat and cheese just don't fill you up. So I struggle with getting hungry every other hour and then pondering on what to eat. Sorry just needed to vent a little!

And here's a picture I drew the other night, with Avlynne being my art teacher. She gave me a lesson on eyes and ears. Now, if you know me well at all you'll know that I don't draw. Avlynne definitely got her skills from her father. So when this drawing came from my hands (I swear) even I was surprised. It was funny though because as I was talking to William about my being proud of my drawing Avlynne chimed in and said something about me having a good teacher! Trust me it'll be stick figures from now on!
